Isaac Coalbank (1750 - ) son of Isaac Colebank (1719-1790) and Sarah Nicholson (1722? - 1800), was born at Gill House, Gosforth and baptised on 12th January 1750 in Gosforth. He married Elizabeth Sherwen, daughter of John Sherwen and Isabella Porter in 1773. Isaac was a yeoman of Yew Tree, Nether Wasdale. His Will is in the Ponsonby Papers. Their children were - Hannah, Sarah and Elizabeth.
Ann Eliza Grey (1803-1862) Ann was born in April 1802 in Bombay (Mumbai), India. Her father was Colonel Charles Gray (1761-1802) and her mother Anne Johnstone.

Sarah Johnston (1844-1894)born 1844 at Lamplugh, daughter of John Johnston and Elizabeth, married William Sherwen (1838-1896), at Lamplugh on 6th Feb 1868. (Lamplugh Marriage Register JAC926; GRO Index of Marriages: "William Sherwen, bachelor, farmer of Lamplugh, son of John Sherwen, farmer, married Sarah Johnston, spinster of Lamplugh, daughter of John Johnston, farmer on 6th Feb 1868 in Whitehaven Registration District." Sarah and William did not live together for very long - none of the census reports show her with him, including the 1871 Census. She lived with a William Williamson in Liverpool, under her maiden name until her death in 1894. - Can’t find a birth record locally – but information from my dad’s cousin Bill Fleming says that Annie was born in Frizington on 27th July 1894, parents – John Walsh (1856-1912) and Mary Roach (1854-1917). She had brothers John (1873-1929), Robert (Devil) Walsh (1877-), Patrick (Patsy) 1881-1957?); Henry (1888-1917) and James (1904-) John was born in Vale of Avoca, Wicklow, Ireland, and Mary born in Wicklow.
